5.1 Service Providers
We use certain third parties for the provision of services to Animo. In such cases, your data may be shared with these third parties acting as service providers or data processors of Animo, which process the data as required for the provision of the services. We may also share your data with our collaboration partners. Animo is, as a data controller, always responsible for the correct processing of your data.
5.2 Legal Requirements
Animo may, if required by law or a decision of a competent authority, share your data. This is done to fulfil legal obligations.
5.3 International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to or stored in countries outside of the EU/EEA, provided that an adequate level of data protection is ensured or that Animo and its data processors have implemented appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
5.4 No Sale of Personal Information
Animo does not sell your personal information or your advertising data to third parties, nor do we share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party other than the sub-processors operating on Animo's behalf as described in this notice.
Data Security
6.1 Our Security Measures
We aim to ensure that you at all times remain confident in trusting Animo with your data. Animo has implemented such security measures as are necessary to protect your data from unauthorised access, modification, and deletion. These industry-standard safeguards include:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Dedicated secret-management for OAuth tokens and other credentials - credentials are never written to application logs
- Role-based access controls and audit logging for personnel access
- Web-application firewall protecting the application perimeter
- Automated vulnerability scanning and periodic security review
Additional technical and organisational security measures are documented in our Data Processing Addendum, available to customers on request.
6.2 Your Responsibilities
Regarding your use of your Animo account, please ensure that you choose a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and log out after having signed in to your Animo account. Please also notify us immediately at support@animo-tech.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
Connected Advertising Platforms
The core Animo function aggregates advertising performance data from campaign platforms into unified dashboards. Access requires explicit authorization via platform OAuth screens. We cannot access your data without your explicit grant. We never post, modify, create, or delete content - access is strictly read-only.
7.1 Platforms We Integrate With
Subject to your authorisation, Animo can connect to major advertising and analytics platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. Supported platforms evolve over time; new connectors appear in workspace settings.
7.2 Categories of Data We Access
Connected platforms provide only necessary data categories:
- Campaign performance (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions at various levels)
- Performance breakdowns (demographic, device, placement dimensions)
- Ad creative metadata (names, captions, thumbnails, call-to-action types)
- Audience configurations (names, sizes, setup details)
- Linked page/property metadata (public profile information)
- Account and organisation metadata (names and identifiers)
The exact set of permissions Animo requests on each platform - and what each permission grants - is presented to you on the platform's own OAuth consent screen. You can deny individual permissions; Animo handles partial grants gracefully.
7.3 Platform-Specific Terms
Data use adheres to platform developer policies:
- Meta APIs: adhere to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies
- Google APIs: adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements
- YouTube data: governed by YouTube Terms and Google Privacy Policy
- TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat: subject to respective developer terms
7.4 Token Handling
OAuth access tokens (and refresh tokens, where the platform issues one) are stored encrypted at rest in a dedicated secret-management system. Tokens are excluded from application, audit, and third-party logs and revoked from secret storage immediately upon disconnect.
7.5 Where Connector Data Is Stored
Advertising data ingested from connected platforms is stored in Animo's data warehouse in geographically-isolated datasets per Animo workspace. Workspaces default to Israel; EU residency is available upon request. Access is restricted to necessary personnel.
7.6 How to Revoke Animo's Access
You can revoke access at any time via Animo workspace settings (disconnect function) or directly through the connected platform's third-party app management. Revocation immediately stops further syncing. Retention follows the timeline in Section 4; email support@animo-tech.com for full deletion requests, with confirmation within 30 days.
